Making the lavender syrup

  • Boil water with lavender
    First, you will combine the water and lavender in a small saucepan on high.

    As the water and lavender begin to heat, mix in sugar, stirring until it dissolves. Bring the contents to a boil.
  • Simmer
    Let the contents simmer for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat
    Remove the saucepan from the hot burner.

    Let the syrup steep for approximately 30 minutes.
