- 1/4 cup hot water 65 ml
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 cup hot unsweetened non-dairy milk (250 ml) You may use coconut milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup optional
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
Heat the water and the non-dairy milk in a saucepan or microwave.
Put the hot water, matcha tea, syrup, and cinnamon in a bowl and stir with the help of a whisk, fork, or spoon. You may use a special whisk for matcha tea, but it is unnecessary.
